Birth: Dec. 28, 1874 Harriettsville Noble County Ohio, USA Death: Dec. 27, 1964 Kansas, USA OBIT-- AGNES LEE DIEDMrs. Agnes Katherine Lee of Hanston died Sunday, December 27, the day before her 90th birthday, at the Spearville hospital where she had been a patient for two and a half months.She was born in Harriettsville, Ohio December 28, 1874. She married F.N. Lee on April 17, 1894, at Westphalia, Kansas. Mr. Lee died May 13, 1945.A member of the Hanston Methodist Church, Mrs. Lee came here from Coffey County in 1910.Survivors are a son, Ray Lee, of Hanston; and two daughters, Mrs. Ada Steffen of Burdett, and Mrs. Iris Dixon of Hanston. A son, Herman, preceeded her in death in 1959.Other survivors are two brothers, William Burkhart of Offerle, and Edward Burkhart of Dodge City and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Gilger of Cimarron, Mrs. Margaret Salm and Mrs. Carl Eickholt, both of Dodge City and Mrs. Pete Regnier of Spearville. there are 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and one great, great, grandchild.The funeral service will be this afternoon, Thursday, December 31, at 2 p.m. in the Hanston Methodist Church with the Rev. Harry Blackburn officiating. Interment will be at the Fairmount Cemetery at Jetmore. The Davis Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
