John Sayler Birth: Oct. 22, 1881 Ivanivka Mykolayivs'ka, Ukraine Death: Nov. 17, 1943 Bismarck Burleigh County North Dakota, USA Johannes SAYLER born 22 October 1881 in Johannestal, Beresan, Odessa, South Russia was the son of Friedrich SAYLER Sr. and Margaretha SCHEMPP. Johannes at the age of 3 with his parents and siblings; Magdalena, Gottlieb, Elisabetha, Jacob and Katharina, immigrated to America via the Port of Bremen, Germany aboard the SS "Fulda" and arrived at the Port of New York, New York on the 13th of April 1885. John SAYLER married Karolina GUNSCH on the 25th of March 1907 in McIntosh County, North Dakota. This union was blessed with no less than 10 children. John and Karolina lived on a farm 2 miles south of Venturia, McIntosh County, North Dakota. Later they resided near Wishek and then located to a farm 2 miles north of Ashley, McIntosh County, North Dakota. In 1935 they moved to Wishek, North Dakota.
