Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Ms. Howden, 72, of Austin, died Friday (July 21, 2006) at Austin Medical Center, following a battle with cancer. Anna Marie Landherr was born June 3, 1934, in Nevada Township. She grew up on her parents' farm in Johnsburg, attended elementary school there and graduated from Adams High School. She worked at Hormel Foods corporate office before retiring. She married Glen Howden in 1967, and they later divorced. Howden loved her family and friends and lived her life with a fun-loving spirit that she shared with those around her. Survivors include four brothers, Gerald Landherr of Austin, Donald Landherr of Adams, Jerome "Slim" (LaVonne) Landherr of Adams and Herbert Landherr of Austin; and a sister, Dorothy (Gerald) Gerber of Adams. Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.
