He was born March 16, 1924 in New Martinsville, W.Va., a son of the late John and Lucinda Kirkman West. Wibb was retired from Blaney Lumber of Bethesda, Ohio after 47 years of service. He was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters: Opal, Mae, Alice, and Rose; brothers: Lindsey and Marvin. Surviving are his wife, Marjorie Stubbs Wilcox West, daughters: Judy Taylor of Columbus, Ohio; Bonnie Murphy of Pickerington; Linda Fitch of Bethesda; Sally Gatten of Belmont, Ohio; Cindy West of DE; son, John West of Buckeye Lake; step-daughters: Martina Smith of St. Clairsville, Ohio; Jane Green of Bethesda; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; four step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary, Ruth, Florence, and Hazel; and a brother, Arvil West.
