Bernice I. Kuntz BELLFLOWER - Bernice I. Kuntz, 72, formerly of Bellflower and Mansfield, died at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday(April 3, 2001) at Heartland Health Care, Paxton. Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Mansfield, with Pastor Brent Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to' 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Heartland Health Care Alzheimer's Unit, Paxton, IL 60947; or to a charity of the donor's choice. She was born May 21, 1928, at Mansfield, a daughter of Arthur and Maggie Argo Knop. She married Virgil Kuntz. Survivors include one son, Stephen (Lorene) Kuntz, R.R. 1, Bellflower; and two daughters Cindy ( Kenny) Hendren, R.R. 2, LeRoy; and Becky Kuntz, Rantoul; six grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Charles Knop. Mrs. Kuntz was a member of the Bellflower United Methodist Church. She had been a hospice volunteer for Lee County, in Fort Myers, Fla.
