Birth: Mar. 12, 1865 Ottawa County Michigan, USA Death: Feb. 5, 1905 Holland Ottawa County Michigan, USA Jacob may have been first married to a Marie. No other inforamtion. Holland City News-July 19, 1884 Jacob Flieman Jr., has built a boat house at the foot of Sixth street and will run a boat livery. He has a good stock of boats and will let them at reasonable rates. Second he married Anne T. Pattingell on November 21, 1887 in Grand Haven, Ottawa, Michigan. One child was born from this union: Lloyd Luther Flieman born December 7, 1889 in Holland, Ottawa, Michigan. Lloyd died in 1963 in Wisconsin. He was married with two sons-Lloyd & Curtis. Jacob & Ann divorced in 1900, with Ann moving to Wisconsin with her son Lloyd. She must of had a lingering love for Jacob, as many times in census etc she states she is widow, no mention of divorce. Jacob died of concussion of brain as result of fall down stairs at the Bristol Hotel. There is more to this family story, but it is just that, no proof. Also stated that he was divorced. He was 39 years, 10 months, 24 days at the time of his death and a blacksmith.
