Birth: 1863 Holland Ottawa County Michigan, USA Death: May 25, 1927 Wheeler Tillamook County Oregon, USA Tried Farming in Michigan, but by 1910 moved to Washington to work as a laborer in a lumber camp. In 1913 move to Tillamook, were he worked as a sorter in a lumber camp in Wheeler,Oregeon. This is where he spent the rest of his life until his death in 1927. His death certificate states that he is buried in the Odd Fellow Cemetery in Tillamook, Oregon. There is some confusion about where George and his wife are buried. Sunset Heights manages this cemetery and Sunset Heights memorial Gardens. All I know is he is buried in plots owned by another person who was an Odd Fellow and had purchased them for use by people who could not afford the expense of burial-Thus my Great Uncle and his wife.
