  [S927] Obituary. Leopold Meidinger, Wishek, N.D. Leopold Meidinger, 99, Wishek, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, in Wishek Nursing Home. Mr. Meidinger was born Oct. 23, 1902, near Zeeland, N.D. He attended school near Strasburg, N.D. He married Pauline Eckman Nov. 18, 1930. They farmed and ranched near Zeeland. He worked for the Works Progress Administration in the 1930s. They retired to Wishek in 1966. He worked for Raile Equipment, Wishek. They later entered the nursing home. He is survived by his wife; five sons, James (Sharon), Wishek, Victor (Janice), Zeeland, Gary (Julie), Wamego, Kan., Donald (Sally), Walter (Marge), both Fargo; seven daughters, Violet Kaseman, Ruth Thurn, Linda (Larry) Wald, all Wishek, Ruby (Ron) Hartman, Fargo, Verna (Gary) Lockwood, Ontario, Calif., Mary Lou (Del) Cornella, Hawthorne, Nev., Grace (Bill) Sufka, Columbia Heights, Minn.; a brother, August, Wishek; 24 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Today from 1-7, in Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek, and one hour before the funeral in the church. Funeral: Monday at 10:30 in United Church of Christ, Wishek.
