Vernon H. Nuss died peacefully on December 15th in his home following a long illness.
He leaves behind a loving wife, Billie and 3 sons and 1 deceased son. He is survived also by 3 devoted daughters-in-law and 5 beautiful grandchildren:

Vern was born in Tripp, So Dakota on 5-19-26. His family moved to the Bay Area in 1935. His brother, Merlin, of Oregon survives him.
He and Billie were married 57 years during which they maintained Christ as the center of their household. He was proud of his service to this country as a young soldier in World War II and his following 40 years at Union Oil Co, but he is remembered most as a man of strong faith and honor. His family, his large extended family, and a host of friends are saddened at his death but are confident of meeting him in Heaven.

A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, December 22 at 10:00 am at Crockett Community Baptist Church, 701 Pomona St., Crockett. Reception follows at The Old Homestead 995 Loring, Crockett.
