Wabash Ave., died Tuesday at 1:53 p.m. at Elkhart General Hospital as the result of a brief illness. She was born April 4, 1924, in Mishawaka, to Irvin and Minnie (Beehler) Linsenmier. She married LaVerne ?Tom? Roeder June 15, 1946. He died Oct. 4, 1983. She was a 1942 graduate of Mishawaka High School. She was a homemaker who was a member of Wakarusa United Methodist Church, the Searchlight Club, the Wakarusa American Legion Auxiliary and the Wakarusa Friends of the Library. She is survived by a son, Tom (Nancy) Roeder, Wakarusa; two daughters, Linda (Fred) Myers and Gail (Rick) Abel, both of Wakarusa; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Wakarusa, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Friday funeral service at Wakarusa United Methodist Church. The funeral service will be officiated by the Rev. Edward Geleske of the church. Burial will follow in Olive Cemetery. She was born April 4, 1924, in Mishawaka to Irvin and Minnie (Beehler) Linsenmier. A lifetime Wakarusa resident, she married LaVerne "Tom" Roeder on June 15, 1946. He died Oct. 4, 1983. She is survived by one son, Tom (Nancy) Roeder of Wakarusa; two daughters, Linda (Fred) Myers and Gail (Rick) Abel, both of Wakarusa; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
