NEWHART, Robert "Bob" St. Clair, 80, of Shadyside, Ohio, died Friday, July 2, 2010, in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, W.Va.
He was born November 9, 1929 in Shadyside, Ohio, a son of the late, William and Hortense Hallett Newhart.
Bob was owner and operator of Newhart's Body Shop, Shadyside, Ohio, a faithful member of the Lincoln Ave. United Methodist Church, Shadyside, Ohio, Masonic Lodge 724 and served 24 years as a Shadyside Local school district board member.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; William Newhart and Clyde Newhart, three sisters; Mildred McMillen, Wilma H. Heagney and Ada Petronek Surviving are his loving wife; Doris Trussell Newhart, of Shadyside, two sons; Robert (Wendy) Newhart, of Shadyside, Timothy Newhart, of Shadyside, three grandchildren; Brianna Robert, and Alyssa Newhart, and godchild and special nephew; Robert C. Tressell.
Friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory 3900 Central Ave. Shadyside, Monday July 5, 2010 from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Visitations will be held Tuesday at Lincoln Ave. United Methodist Church, Shadyside, from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11am with Reverend Randy Weaver officiating.
Interment in Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan Point, Ohio.
Masonic Services at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
