Cline, Sister Arlene Weckbacher Cline, nee Weckbacher

Sister Arlene Weckbacher Cline, 75, of Tunnel, Marietta Route 2, died at 2:54 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 24, 2002) at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She had been a resident of Harmar Place in recent months.
She was born Jan. 27, 1927, in Sycamore Valley to John C. and Mary Clover Kincaid* Weckbacher. She attended school in Sycamore Valley. She had been employed at B.F. Goodrich Co. and was later employed by Skuttle Manufacturing. She had been a cook at the Head Start facility and also at the O'Neill Center. She was a member of Harmar Hill Church of Christ and had been an EMT with the Warren Township Volunteer Emergency Squad and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Warren Fire Department. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting and being with her friends.
She is survived by one son, Tony B. Cline of Marietta Route 2; one daughter, Nicola "Nicki" Rogers and her husband, James, of Marietta Route 2; three grandchildren, Jasmine N. Rogers and Cherokee D. Rogers, both of Marietta Route 2, and Erick A. Cline of Belpre; two brothers, Gerald Weckbacher and his wife, Sylvia, and Johnny Weckbacher and his wife, Ruth, all of Rinard Mills; her sister-in-law, Norma Cline of Marietta Route 2; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
On Oct. 22, 1955, she married Stanley M. Cline. He died in December of 1981. Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Trina Jo Cline; her parents; and one brother, Martin Weckbacher.
Services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home in Marietta with Terry Varner officiating. Burial is in Tunnel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. today until the hour of the service. The family will be present to meet friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
