She was a lifelong member of St. James Catholic parish, a graduate of St. James School in 1936 and Mercy Academy in 1940. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo J. and Esther Fante; and her brother, Leo W. Fante. She is survived by her sister, Margaret Fante Reed; a sister- in-law, Sara B. Fante; nephews; Earl Reed III (Bridget), Eric Reed (Andrea), Leo R. Fante (Mary), Greg A. Fante (Mary Jo) and Stephen P. Fante (Scott); a niece, Carol Reed McIntyre (John); and nine great-nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2006 at St. James Catholic Church, Bardstown Rd. at Edenside Avenue, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
