  [S927] Obituary. Raymond Miller's obituary appeared in the Zanesville (OH) signal newspaper on Dec 19, 1941 (the right side of the obituary is cut off on the Ancestry site).NOBLE-CO. MAN KILLED BY TRAIN CALDWELL -- Raymond Miller, 36, son of John Miller of (near?) Fulda, was instantly killed Thursday afternoon when he stepped (into?) the path of a passenger train (near?) Louisville, Stark county. Miller was on his way (home?) from work when the accident occurred. It was said that he (was?) standing beside the track (waiting?) for a freight train to pass, after it had done so, he (started?) across the double tracks and (was?) struck by the freight train. He was employed in a (defense?) plant and (roomed?) with his cousin, Joseph Nau. (Mrs.?) Nau saw the accident from (the?) window of her home. Funeral services were held (?) morning at St. Mary's (Catho- lic?) church at Fulda with Rev. (Fr.) B. Mattes officiating. Burial (?) in St. Mary's Cemetery. Surviving in addition to his (father?) are a brother, Roy Miller, near Newark, and a sister Adeline Arnold, of the home.
