  [S927] Obituary. Burkhard, Bert of Erfweiler, Germany on February 26th at the age of 72, left this world to drink heaven's finest wines. Bert fought a good fight against lung cancer the same way he led his life, full of determination, strength and strong will. His favorite saying "Everything I do, I do for you" rang true through all aspects of his well rounded life. Bert was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and boss. His fun loving spirit will be truly missed by all. Please join us to celebrate his amazing life at a memorial service on Tuesday, March 6th at 1pm at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave in Glendale. Interment will be held at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Ryan House, 110 W. Merrell, part of Hospice of the Valley .
