She was a founding member of Pesotum Euchre Card Club, which has been in existence for more than 60 years. She was a very active volunteer for her church and Pesotum Senior Citizens. She visited and brought cookies to the Tuscola Nursing Home on a monthly basis. She never met a stranger. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She married Albert Frederick "Butch" Nofftz Feb. 10, 1943, in Pesotum. He preceded her in death June 1, 1999. They had 1 son and 1 daughter, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 1 brother. She was preceded in death by her brother, Peter Lecher, and infant sister, Bernadette Lecher.
