Morris, Barbara Christman Morris Published December 1950 Provided by Lena Kahrig Pettit, typed by Betty Lendon Matson Mrs. Barbara Christman Morris, 87, died early Saturday, December 16, 1950, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Freda Swank, near Salesville. A daughter of Phillip and Rosenna Pfalzgraf Christman, she was born in Monroe County, September 22, 1863. She had made her home with her daughter for the past nine years. Mrs. Morris was a member of The Salem Baptist Church. Her husband, Charles T. Morris, died December 30, 1909. Surviving are five sons, P.T. Morris, near Salesville; Frank T. Morris, of Warren; Allen Morris, of Forkland, Alabama; F. R. Morris, of Elyria, and Rodney Morris, of Cambridge; two daughters, Mrs. Freda Swank, at whose home she died, and Mrs. Beryl Dearth, of Warren; one sister, Mrs. Mary Miller of near Quaker City, and one brother, George L. Christman, of Lewisville. One daughter is deceased. Funeral services were held at The Eberle Funeral Home in Quaker City on Tuesday. Burial was made in Greenlawn Cemetery.
