Comments: Hello,Our family is trying to obtain our German family history as our father was unsure of the family history as his parents never spoke of their ancestors. My father left Annweiler-Binderbach when he was 19yrs of age to work in Australia and stayed. My father's name is Ludwig Lambertus born 25 Januar 1932 son of Johannes Lambertus born 12 September 1876 in Bindersbach and Johanna Lambertus (Nepp) born 23 Februar 1900 in Schwanheim als daughter der Eheleute Ludwig Nepp und Barbara Nepp geb Christmann geboren. My father has a sister Martha Ranker (Lambertus) and a brother Ernst Lambertus (deceased).Johannes Lambertus als Sohn der Eheleute Michael Lambertus und Franziska Lambertus geb Hafner.My father was named after my great grandfather Ludwig Nepp. My great grandfather is Michael Lambertus who was married to Franzisca geb Hafner. I believe his sister would not come forward to claim his body as she would incur the costs at the time so he was given a poor mans burial. Ernst was also ripping money off his mother and his Aunty Martha Albrecht in their old age so was not in the good books with his siblings. It was my understanding he went a bit mental in the head at the end. He also hoarded the fruit from the orchards the family owned instead of sharing it with the village people wasting a lot of it.
