Ralph Arnold, of Bedford, died Dec. 15, 1961 at the home of his son'in'law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Heacock, 521 East John St. He was a retired carpenter. He was born Aug. 21, 1880, in Bedford county, the son of William and Helen (Amos) Arnold. He is survived by his wife, the former Theresa McQuin, and these children: Dennis, Bernard, and Mrs.Elizabeth Heacock, Bedford; Mrs. Anna Thompson, Harrisburg; Kenneth and Joe, Bedford; Mrs Dora logue, Bedford, Rt. 1, and Mrs. Ruth Dunham, Harrisburg. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, six sisters, Mrs Gertrude Bowers, Mrs Carrie Moorehead, Mrs. Lista McCoy, all of Bedford; Mrs. Leona Kring, Johnstown; Mrs. Virginia Kinzey, Johnstown; Mrs. Rena Meyers, Jeannette; two brothers, George, Bedford; and Richard, Hollidaysburg. One son, one daughter, two sisters and a brotherpreceded him in death. He was a member of St. Thomas Catolic Chu rch, Bedford and the Knights of Columbus. NOTE: William's mother's name was Elnorah "Ellen" Amos Arnold, not Helen as shown in obit and his wife Theresa's maiden name was McGuin, not McQuin as shown.
