Margaret C. Dumpert, 89, of
123 W. John St., Bedford, died
early Wednesday, April 17, 1991,
in Memorial Hospital of Bedford
County.
She was born Nov. 4, 1901, in
Bedford Township, a daughter of
the late John and Anne (Leasure)
Lilly.
She was preceded in death by
her husband, Louis W. Dumpert,
on April 26, 1980.
She is survived by these chil-
dren: Paul Dumpert, married to
the former Myna Dreistadt, of
Lincoln Park, N.J.; Robert
Dumpert, married to the former
Marjorie Miller, of Spartanburg,
S.C.; Mary Dumpert of Keans-
burg, N.J.; Dorothy, wife of
Richard Eichler, Bedford; Helen
Santos of Bedford; and Patrick
Dumpert, married to the former
Shevawn Rose, of Bedford; 20
grandchildren. and 14 great-
grandchildren. .
She was preceded in death by
an infant brother and a daughter-
in-law, Mary Laura Dumpert.
Mrs. Dumpert was a member of
St. Thomas Catholic Church, Bed-
ford, and a lifetime member of the
Catholic Daughters.
Mass of the Christian Burial on
Saturday, April 20, at 10 a.m. in
St. Thomas Catholic Church, with
the Rev. John C. Vago officiating.
Burial in the church cemetery.
Friends will be received 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Tim-
othy A. Berkebile Funeral Home,
Bedford, where the Catholic
Daughters will hold a memorial
service at 7:30 p.m. and a wake
service will be held at 8 p.m.
Contributions may be made to
St. Thomas Catholic Church in
Mrs. Dumpert's memory.
