Full Obituary: style="text-align:justify">Opal L. Franks, 93, of East Millsboro, Pa went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, August 22, 2010. She was born September 4, 1916 in Grafton, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Charles and Emma Scarff. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth R. Franks, four sisters and one brother. Left to cherish her memory are her two children Bob Franks and wife Roberta, Mentor on the Lake, Ohio and Karen Giles and husband Henry, Brownsville, PA; grandchildren Robert Franks and wife Jackie, Laura Welsh, Steven Giles, Kelly Sohyda and husband David and Colleen Ewart and husband George; great grandchildren Christopher Franks, Trevor Welsh, Rob Franks, Chelsea Sohyda, David Sohyda, Morgan Ewart and Mia Ewart. She also leaves brother Corbett Scarff and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME 515 Front Street, Brownsville, on Monday, August 23, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9pm and Tuesday, August 24, 2010 until 11:00 am the hour of service with the Rev. Paul Lesher, officiating. Interment will be at West Bend Cemetery in East Millsboro, PA immediately following services at the funeral home.
