She was born in Monroe County Ohio October 11, 1948 a daughter of the late Calvin & Eleanor Bates Weber. Susan was a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ. She was a housewife and homemaker to her husband, children, and grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law; Jamie Moore Gehrig, May 22, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 39 years; Lewis Gehrig of Woodsfield who she married November 11, 1972, two sons; Douglas Michael Gehrig of Jerusalem, Ohio, and Darin Gehrig of Woodsfield, one brother; John P. Weber of Woodsfield, two sisters; Sandra Weber of Woodsfield and Lisa Ann (Todd) Bettinger of Summerfield, Ohio, three grandchildren; Hallie, Gracie, Daleyn Gehrig and several nieces and nephews. Friends received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday April 25, 2011 with Rev. Brian Darrah officiating. Interment in the Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield, Ohio.
