She was born in Swan Twp in Noble County November 24, 1920 to Lodie and Eva (Richards) Freeman. When a young girl she moved with her family to Green Twp. She married Clarence E. Sible March 1, 1941 in Columbia City. Surviving are her husband; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Harold Schinbeckler of Churubusco; 3 sisters and a brother-in-law, Laura Shank of Churubusco, Mary and Jim Gerber of Garrett and Neva Whitesel of Fort Wayne; a brother and sister-in-law, Wilbur and Kay Freeman of Marion; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were a son, Larry L. on January 3, 1984; a sister, Myrtle Nine; and a brother, Jim Freeman. Before her marriage she worked at Blue Bell in Columbia City. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the couple's farm east of Churubusco. Services Friday at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco. Burial, Eel River Cemetery. ~ 3-6-2003
