  [S927] Obituary. Josephine Myers Josephine A. "JoAnn" (Coss) Myers, 68, of Concord St., Martins Ferry, Ohio, died Jan. 7, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born Jan. 24, 1937 in Bridgeport, Ohio, a daughter of Marie (Strauss) Coss and the late Harmon Coss. She was a nurse aide for the In-Home Health Care Center and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry. Josephine was also a 1954 graduate of St. John Catholic High School, Bellaire, Ohio. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Myers Sr. Surviving in addition to her mother of Martins Ferry, are two sons, Richard "George" (Raquel) Myers Jr., of Tuscon, Ariz., and Matt (Kim) Myers of Martins Ferry; a daughter, Dianna "DeeDee" Bender of Martins Ferry; a brother, Jerry (Billie) Coss; two sisters, Mary Evelyn Staley and Pat Cika, all of Martins Ferry; two grandsons, Ricky and Zach Myers and also several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, Ohio. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 1 p.m., at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry, with Rev. Thomas Magary officiating. Burial follows at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Rosary devotions will be recited Tuesday at 3 p.m., followed by Wake services at 7 p.m., both in the funeral home.
