JAMES F. VACHON, 68, died Friday, April 8, 2005. The Fort Wayne native was a U.S. Army veteran, retired as a sergeant with the Fort Wayne Police Department and was a member of the F.O.P. Lodge #14.
Survivors include his sister, Judith A. (Robert) Smith of Coldwater, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois J. Vachon, in 2002.
Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, April 12, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2213 Brookyn Avenue. Calling also Monday, April 11, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
Preferred memorials to Masses or donations to the F.O.P. Lodge No. 14.
