Miller was informant on her death certificate.Her sister Lizetta Baumann's memorial 73148787.Her mother Barbara Peter/Peters Stentzel, age 62, and her 22 year old brother Herman G. Stentzel drowned in Wheeling, Ohio, West Virginia on July 19, 1888. They were buried in Miltonsburg, Monroe, Ohio with their father Frederick who died in 1877.The Wheeling Register reported that a flood of the Ohio River caused debris to tear down the bank and stone wall. The floodwaters tore apart the home of Herman G. Stentzel. Herman, his mother Barbara, and two of her nieces Misses Annie and Alice Wengert were all carried away and drowned. Herman was the owner and manager of the Blue Grass Dairy on Caldwell's Run.Ironically Mt. Zion Cemetery, where some Stentzel family are now buried, was also flooded the same day, with the torrential waters tearing down the fence and moving the tool shed off it's foundation.There was also a Charles Stentzel born 1853 Germany, a music teacher who died in 1917 buried Mt. Zion, memorial 140998380.Jennie Stentzel, 22, born Monroe, Ohio, married Louis A. Baumann, 1886 Wheeling.Edith E. Stentzel 26 married Herman J. Serig, 1909 Wheeling.
