Mildred C. Fliehman, age 98, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Thursday December 17, 2015 at Orlando, Florida. She was born April 20, 1917 in Graysville, Ohio a daughter of the late John Dee Cline and Gladys Baker Cline Turner.
She was a Homemaker and Business Owner. She followed in her mother?s footsteps into social work and is best remembered as a kind and caring representative of child services. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Woodsfield where she supported many church functions. She was very active with the Monroe County Democratic party, and had a special love of playing music and singing.
Preceded in death by her husband Glenn Fliehman, a sister Freda Cline Walker, grandson Lyle Fisher, and a brother Warren Eckelberry.
She is survived by one son Max (Dixie) Fliehman of Woodsfield, two daughters Linda Kaye (Larry) Fisher of Woodsfield, and Mollie K. (Larry) Conley of Orlando, Florida, one sister Jeannie Price of Florida, grandchildren Lora Ann Fisher, Tamara Lynch, Jason Fliehman, Tara Baxley, Ellerie Hackathorn, Tiffany Hackathorn, Lisa Conley Smith, Sarah South, Melanie Kemp, Mindy Martin, Pamela Harney and Sherry Williams, great grandchildren; Michael, Katlyn, Wyatt, Morgan, Grace, Ahna, Dylan, Derek, Maddie, Lanie, Emmie, Will, Delaney, Kaylee, Devin, Stanton, Casen, Christian, and Annabell.
Friends received from 6 ? 8 p.m. Sunday December 20, and from 1 p.m. until time of Service at 2 p.m. Monday December 21, 2015 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Rev. David Cottrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield, Ohio. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Service of your choice.
