Donahoe Brickler. After graduating from St. Francis High School of Lafayette in 1954, she married Robert J. Ubelhor of Lafayette on July 2, 1955, and he survives. Mrs. Ubelhor was a homemaker for many years, then was an assistant store manager at Kmart in Bollingbrook, Ill., and retired after 24 years of service. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving with her husband are six children, Patricia A. Stratton (husband: Charles), Robert J. Ubelhor Jr., Ann M. Stech (husband: Bill), Edward L. Ubelhor (wife: Aruna), Joseph D. Ubelhor and Thomas W. Ubelhor (wife: Melissa), all of the Chicago area; a brother, Joseph F. Brickler (wife: Jean) of Brownsburg; and two sisters, Eleanor R. DeHahn (husband: James) of West Lafayette and Mary R. Belanger (husband: Arthur) of Lafayette. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Joshua and Justin Stech, Cassandra Carter, Daniella Ubelhor, and Patrick and Elizabeth Ubelhor. Memorial Mass 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Fr. Ambrose Ziegler celebrating. Interment at The Preserve in Spring Vale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Elizabeth Hospice.
