Coates and Agnes Gallaher Coates. He was an electrician, veteran of World War II in the Army Air Corps. and member of Southwest Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife Della Ruth Brown Coates, age 92, of Navarre, who passed away May 12, 2011 in Altercare of Navarre. She was born in Woodsfield, a daughter of the late Albert Parker Brown and Flora Shouse Brown. She was a member of the Southwest Church of Christ, Canton, Ohio. William and Della are survived by two sons, David Coates of Canton, Ohio, and William Coates of Eckert, Colorado, and one grandson Bill Coates of Penrose, North Carolina. Graveside services will be held for both William and Della Ruth at 12 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2016 in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Ozark, Ohio with Keith Jones officiating.
