Norwalk Kathryn Virginia (Turner) Viock, 91, of Norwalk, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, in Norwalk Memorial Home. She was born Feb. 11, 1919, in Monroeville, daughter of the late Elmer Roy and Estella (Ritzenteller) Turner. She moved to Norwalk in 1986 and was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. She was a seamstress and homemaker, and enjoyed making doilies, sewing her own clothes and making doll dresses. She is survived by her children, Carl W. Viock of Sandusky, Evelyn (Norman) Ott of Norwalk, Dorothy Loyer of Florida, Stella May Menningen of Findlay, and Richard Viock of Sandusky; brother, Roy Turner of North Monroeville; sisters, Clara Williams of Norwalk and Dorine Lorenz of Sandusky; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest L. Viock in 1991; and a sister, Myrtle Turner; brother, Johnny Turner during WWII; and a granddaughter, Dorothy (Chill) Schira. Friends may call from 10 a.m. Tuesday until services at 11 a.m. at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main St., Norwalk. The Rev. Fred Wiechers, pastor of St. Peter Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be at Meadow Green Memorial Park in Huron, followed by a luncheon at St. Peter Lutheran Church.
