  [S927] Obituary. ge 76 of North Canton, passed away Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Lebanon, Ohio on Nov. 20, 1934 a daughter of the late Talmadge V. and Edith Mae Cline Handschumacher. She was a loving and faithful wife to her late husband, Melvin C. Jones. She was a loving, wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a faithful member of the Canton Baptist Temple, Faith Builders Class; she was involved with her best of friends in the Share and Care Ministry, Wednesday's Bowling League, and Forever Young at the CBT. She retired from Fisher Foods of Canton, Ohio where she worked in the Meat Department. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in her death by her two sisters, Ella Stewart and Gertrude Gerken; six brothers, James, Harry, Charles, Harold, Lloyd, Jackie, and Dwight Handschumacher. Surviving are three children, Marlene (Daniel) Bucklew of Canton, Ohio, Mark (Jody) Jones of Canton, Ohio, and Matthew (Sheila) Jones of North Canton, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, Anthony, Kameron, Seth, Luke, Jessica, Mikaila, Daniel, Leah, Sarah, John, Stephen, Michael, Josiah, Caleb and Joshua; two sisters, June (Ray) Williams of Woodsfield, Ohio and Peggy (Andrew) Brooker of Marietta, Ohio; four brothers, Hollie (Ruth) Handschumacher of Whipple, Ohio, Donald (Carolyn) Handschumacher of New Matamoras, Ohio, Gerald (Betty) Handschumacher of Belpre, Ohio, and Howard (Cheryl) Handschumacher of Belpre, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Canton Baptist Temple, 515 Whipple Ave. NW with Rev. Jake Tovissi officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hills Burial Park.
