Obituary from the Zanesville Signal, 15 Oct 1926 BATES FUNERAL Funeral services for Mrs. Rozella Bates, wife of Dewey Bates, were conducted at the catholic church Wednesday morning by Father Donahue and interment was made in the Catholic cemeter. Mrs. Bates is survived by a husband and eight small children, an aged father, Casper Crock, and one sister, Mrs. Olefa Tschappat.
