ADVERTISEMENT Lucy Mae Burkhard, 83 ZANESVILLE - Lucy Mae Burkhard, 83, of Zanesville, passed away at 11:55 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2006, at Genesis Extended Care & Rehab Center. Lucy was born March 15, 1922, in Zanesville, to the late James and Rilla Denny Dick. She was retired from Bell Telephone as an operator and shift supervisor. Lucy was also a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. ADVERTISEMENT Surviving are two sons, Russell (Mary of Burke, Va.) Burkhard II of Zanesville and Ronald (Betty Jo) Burkhard of North Charleston, S.C.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell Burkhard; a brother, James E. Dick; and three sisters, Lillian Coffman, Virginia McNerney and Margaret Eversole. Lucy has requested that no visiting hours or services be observed. A cremation will take place with burial in Mississippi at a later date. The Snouffer Funeral Home, 1150 W.
