  [S927] Obituary. NEW BAVARIA - Viola G. Wank, 87, of New Bavaria , Oh. died 7:20 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2004 at Calvary Manor Nursing Home, Glandorf. She was born December 15, 1916 in Putnam County to Frank and Elizabeth (Kleman) Ruhe. On October 8, 1941, she married Carl Doepker. He died October 17, 1956. She then married Norbert Wank on August 10, 1971. He died October 6, 2002. Surviving are 4 children: Connie (Jerry) Miller of Kalida; Paul (Pauline) Wank of Leipsic; Nancy (Gerard) Lonsway of Oregon and Tom (Barbara) Wank of Leipsic; 17 Grandchildren; 33 Great-Grandchildren. She was predeceased by 3 grandchildren; a brother: Alfred Ruhe; a sister: Esther Wank and an infant brother and sister. Mrs. Wank retired as a cook for Miller City School . She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Bavaria and its Rosary Altar Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia; St. Nicholas Catholic Ladies of Columbia and the Sunshine Club. A mass of Christian burial will be said at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. George Wenzinger officiating. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Miller City . Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where the CLC will have a Rosary at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to American Heart Assoc., Cancer Research or Parkinson's Disease.
