Garnet Dennis Hupp January 17 - 1926 - October 14 - 2007 Garnet Dennis Hupp, 81, of Third Street, Marietta, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 14, 2007) at The Arbors of Marietta. She was born Jan. 17, 1926, in Lowell, Ohio, the daughter of the late George and Josephine Dixon Dennis. On Feb. 14, 1944, she married Homer Albert Hupp, who preceded her in death. Garnet is survived by four daughters, Judy Miller and husband, Eddie, of Edinburg, Texas, Sandra Sutton and husband, Darrell ?Sipe?, of Whipple, Sharyn Baldrick and her late husband, William, of Detroit, Mich., and Bonnie Swain and husband, Jim, of Macksburg; three sons, Jerry Hupp and wife, Ceola, of Marietta, Michael Hupp of San Diego, Calif., and James Homer Hupp of Shreveport, La. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ray Dennis and wife, Viola, of Marietta, John Dennis and wife, Paula, of Oak Hill, N.Y., and Franklin Dwain Dennis of Coal Run, Ohio; one sister, Carol Simon and husband, Dean, of Evansville, Ind.; and very special companion, Donald Meador. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Albert Dwain Hupp and his wife, Gladys; brother, Donald Dean Dennis; and sister, Helen Lucille Braden. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following at Salem Township Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where family will be present from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m
