  [S927] Obituary. Jerome J. Seger age 86 of Jasper passed away at 11:00 P.M. Monday November 3, 2008 at his home in Jasper. He was born February 3, 1922 at St. Henry IN. to: Nicholas and Magdalena (Bredhold) Seger. He married Wilma Jean Lechner May 26, 1951. Memberships include: St. Joseph Catholic Church, K of C, American Legion Post 147, and Friends of the Museum. He was a WW2 Navy Veteran He was a Structural Engineer at Wayne E. Seifert and Associates at Ferdinand. Surviving: his wife of 57 years Jeanne Seger. 5 sons-Glenn Seger of Winslow, Steve B. Seger of Evansville,David D. and Wayne Seger both of Jasper, and Terry of Velpen 3 daughters-Mrs. Stephen (Linda) Parker of California, Sherry Seger of Bloomington IL., and Karen Uebelhor of Huntingburg 9 Grandchildren Preceded in death by 1 brother-Orville Seger. Visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. Funeral service will be held at 9:30 A.M. Friday November 7, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper with entombment to follow at Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper. The American Legion Post 147 will conduct the Military Grave side Rites. Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Joseph Catholic Church, or Hospice-Vista Care.
