DOROTHY ELIZABETH BARTOLF
AGE: 89 JACKSON
Dorothy Elizabeth Bartolf, 89, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2009, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, NJ. She was born in New York City, NY, and resided in Lakewood before settling in Jackson 66 years ago. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Georgian Court College, Lakewood, NJ, in 1939. She was employed by the Lakewood Twp. Board of Education as a Home Economics Teacher at Lakewood High School for 33 years, retiring in 1982. She was a Communicant of St. Aloysius R. C. Church, Jackson Twp., NJ.
She was predeceased by her Parents, William and Anna C. Pillion. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Michael Martin Bartolf; her Sons, Michael Bartolf and his Wife Melanie of Richmond, VA, William Bartolf and his Wife Leslie of Jackson Twp., NJ, and Robert Bartolf and his Wife Charlotte of Jackson Twp., NJ; her Daughters, Dona Anderson and her Husband Jay of Malvern, PA., Suzanne Langford and her Husband Thomas of Downingtown, PA, and JoAnne Wiggins and her husband Roy of Acton, MA; her Brother, William Pillion of Lancaster, PA; her Sisters, Catherine Bordonali of Oldsmar, FL, and Virginia Matthews of Brick Twp.. NJ; her Sisters-in-law, Eva Bartolf Clark and her Husband Layton, and Thelma Bartolf, both of Lakewood, NJ; twelve Grandchildren; two Great Grandchildren; and many loving Nieces and Nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Visitation on Wednesday, May 27, from 6-8 p.m. at The George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ, A Funeral Gathering will be offered on Thursday, May 28, at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Honey Locust Dr., Lakewood, NJ.
