(Tony) Schlaug, 66, a self-employed electrical engineer and former instructor at the Electric Clearing House in Louisville, died at 11 p.m. Monday at his home, 1208 Bourbon Ave. He was a native of Louisville and had been the chief electrical inspector for the city until 1974, when he resigned to return to private employment. He was the former president of the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and the Audubon High Twelve Club. Survivors include his wife, the former Nettie J. Hujo; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Frances O'Donnell, of Portsmouth, N.H., and Mrs. Helen Louise Louis, and his stepmother, Mrs. Florence Schlaug. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
