I found a marriage record for Daniel E married to Myrtle Grant. From all the records I could find, his birth is March of 1876, not 1878. Now, in locating his death record (from a State Hospital) it shows his father as Phillip and his "mother" as Myrtle Grant. I don't know who the informant was, as it appears to be info from Hospital records.
