John H. Fyock, 66 of Richmond, and formerly of Staunton, died Tuesday afternoon (April 24, 1990) at Richmond. He was a former dirctor of personnell at Westinghouse in Staunton and while residing here was president of the Staunton Lions Club in 1959, past district governor in 1964 and 1965 and was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. He relocated to Minneapolis, Minn., in 1965. He returned to Virginia in 1983 and was associated with Garden State Paper Co. until his retirement in June 1989. He was a shriner. Surviving are his mother, Leona Fyock of Hopkins, Minn.; widow, Arlene (Miller) Fyock; two sons, John H. Jr. of Alexandria and Michael Pl. Fyock of Richmond; three daughters, Deborah F. Creekmore and Susan J. Fyock, both of Richmond, and Cathy F. Leonard of Staunton; a brother James A. Fyock of Winston-Salem, NC; two sisters, Grace Kuening of Hacienda Heights, Calif., and Freda Dahl of Minneapolis, Minn., and eight grandchildren. A service will be held 10 am Thursday at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Richmond. A committal cervice will be held 3 pm Thursday at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery near Swoope.
