Harold was born May 21, 1920 in Glencoe, Ohio a son of the late Leslie and Hazel Keevert Sutton. Harold was retired from the Co-operative Transit Company of Wheeling was a Methodist by faith and a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps where he served as a combat engineer. Preceding him in death was an infant son, a brother, Kyle Sutton, three sisters, Margie Webb, Lila Ryan, and Loadah McAfee. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Ruth Ochsenbein Sutton, a daughter, Paula Covey and her husband Ken of Wooster, OH, three grandchildren, David Covey and his wife Melissa, Jay Covey and his wife Emily and Kelly Covey and her husband Kevin Ungerer, a great granddaughter, Morgan Covey. Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3900 Central Avenue, Shadyside, OH, on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 from 11a.m. until time of funeral service at 1p.m. with Reverend James Hoff officiating. Interment in Weeks Cemetery, Bridgeport, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to The Seeing Hand Association Inc. 750 Main Street Wheeling WV. 26003.
