  [S927] Obituary. Ida L. Alt Gridley -- The funeral of Ida L. Alt, 74, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Gridley, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gridley Apostolic Christian Church. Church ministers will officiate. Burial will be in Gridley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Froelich Memorial Home, Gridley, and one hour before the service Saturday at the church. Mrs. Alt died at 12:50 p.m. Sunday (March 3, 1991) at Humana Hospital Sunrise, Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 29, 1916, in Gridley, a daughter of John and Juliana Brubach Kaupp. She married Melvin alt on June 4, 1939, in Peoria. He survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Mary Toleno, Brattleboro, Vt.; four sisters, Emma Bessler, Marie Kaupp and Louise Finck, all of Peoria; and Caroline Moser, Eureka; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Alt was a member of Gridley Apostolic Christian Church. She enjoyed china painting and painting portraits. Memorials may be made to the church.
