  [S927] Obituary. Jimmie Lee Moreo March 30, 1931 Jan. 15, 2006 Jimmie Lee Moreo, 74, of Delphos, died at 10:15 a.m. Sunday at St. Rita?s Medical Center. He was born March 30, 1931, in Fort Wayne, to Charles and Fern (Ralston) Moreo. On Sept. 9, 1952, he married Ruth E. Matson, who survives in Delphos. Other survivors include three sons, Terry (Phyllis) Moreo, Dave (Ann) Moreo and Don (Clarice) Moreo of Delphos; a daughter, Pam Stratton of Delphos; a sister, Sue Matson of Delphos; two brothers, Ronald (Janette) Moreo of Delphos and John Moreo of Spencerville; and five grandchildren, Chris Yenser, Lyndsey Moreo, Carie Moreo, Jamie Moreo and Jesse Stratton. Mr. Moreo retired from Moreo Brothers Roofing and Siding Company after co-owning the business with his brothers and sons for more than 50 years. He served on the Delphos City School Board for 12 years and was recently named as a Walnut Grove Cemetery trustee. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951-52 and was an active in the Army Reserve for six years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Delphos Eagles Aerie 471. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home, the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be in walnut Grove Cemetery, with military graveside services by the Delphos Veterans Council. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
