  [S927] Obituary. lizabeth M. Zander Elizabeth M. Zander, 94, of Galt died Dec. 20, 2005 after a long illness. She was born Elizabeth Mosbrucker on Nov. 5, 1911 in New Salem, N.D. Mrs. Zander had been a Galt resident for the past year, previously living in Gridley for 20 years, Weimar for almost 30 years, and Folsom for nine years. She retired from the Weimar Sanitarium after 20 years of working in the kitchen. She attended the Catholic Church, and enjoyed cooking, crocheting, reading and playing bingo. Surviving her are her daughter, Bertha Hulett; sister, Rose Snyder of Ohio; sister-in-laws, Clara Zander of Vallejo, Rose Zander of Gridley, Barbara Mosbrucker of Oregon; brother-in-law, Nick Kuntz of North Dakota; grandchildren, George Hulett of Silvia, Jan Flatte (John), Nancy Van Meter (AB Terry), Michael Hulett (Kelly), John Inman, Frank Zander (Wendy), Anne Romo (Javier); 15 great-grandchildren; and nephews, nieces and cousins. Her husband, Peter A. Zander, Sr., preceded her in death, as well as three children, Clara Anderson, Alice Inman and Peter A. Zander, Jr. A catholic funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at St. Christopher?s, 950 S. Lincoln Way, Galt. Committal will take place on Thursday, Dec. 29 at 11 a.m. at Mt Vernon.
