He was the 6th of 14 children. Jerome helped on the farm side by side with his dad and brothers. He moved to Mott in 1966 with his family. Jerome would do odd jobs around town mowing lawns, shoveling snow, raking leaves and collecting pop cans. Jerome enjoyed riding his Schwin bike, listening to his polka tapes and visiting with others. He moved into the Able Home in Bowman in 1986, where he took pride in making rugs with a loom. Jerome later moved into the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Mott on February 27, 2001, where he passed from this life on April 18, 2006. Surviving family members include his 3 brothers and 4 sisters-in-law, John Roll and friend Rose Drumm, Bullhead City, AZ; William and Winnifred Roll, El Dorado Springs, MO; Sebastian and Norita Roll, Mott, ND; Marie Roll, Dickinson, ND and Betty Roll, of Mott, ND; 7 sisters and 3 brothers-in-law, Eva and Innozent Zentner, Mott, ND; Ann Kuntz, Billings, MT; Barbara and Cornelius Kautzman, Ballentine, MT; Viola Dauenhauer, Billings, MT; Delores Lee and friend Duane Cregger, Hettinger, ND; Gladys Humeston and friend Willie Trieb, El Dorado Springs, MO; Sally and Marlin Schneider, Bismarck, ND; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
