  [S927] Obituary. ZANESVILLE -- Thomas Walter Yarus, 41, Zanesville, died at 8:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born on Saturday, March 15, 1963, in Zanesville, the son of John and Alice (Burkhart) Yarus. He was married to Charlotte (Mayle) Yarus and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of the home; one son, Tristen Hamrick; one daughter, Ida Goins; five sisters-in-law, Bertha Goins, Diana Settles, Haulda Norris, Lena Mayle and Margaret Mayle; five brothers-in-law, Ikey Goins, Lawrence Goins, Raymond Settles, Leonard Norris and Ernest Goins. He was preceded in death by his parents; one aunt, Sister Alamaria; and one daughter, Tessa Mayle. Friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, at the Hillis and Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave. Services will be held at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Ernest Goins and James Hamrick officiating.
