MABEL RODELLA MUTH, 74, of Barboursville, passed away Friday, February 20, 2009, at Chateau Grove, Barboursville. A funeral liturgy will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church by Monsignor Lawrence Luciana. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born December 21, 1934, in Lesage, W.Va., a daughter of the late George and Ethel Price Roach. She was the former owner of Muth Army and Navy Store and vice president of SEP Inc. Rodella was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Muth; and two sons, Andrew Mark Muth and Charles Kevin Muth. Survivors include four sons and four daughters-in-law, Paul V. and Ora Muth of Huntington, Edward A. and Patty Muth of Milton, Donald E. and Becky Muth of Ashburn, Va., and Matthew T. and Ann Muth of South Carolina; 14 great-grandchildren, Courtney and Whitney Spinks of Columbus, Ga., Edward A. Muth II, Nathan and Chris Muth, all of Milton, Paul Vincent Muth II of Huntington, Tessie Renee Muth of Welch, W.Va., Charlie and Jacob Muth of Ashburn, Va., Anna Muth of Ohio, Joe Muth of S.C., Jimmy Muth of Maryland, and Kassidy and Kaleb Muth of S.C.; six brothers, Johnny, Carl, Mike, Millard, Wylie and Odell Roach; and six sisters, Fannie Blake, Rosie Beaver, Ruth Reger, Roberta Collins, Alta Scarberry and Joyce Adkins; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Reger Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Monday at the Reger Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Grade School or St. Joseph High School.
