Icie Elizabeth Hendershot nee Miller Mrs. Icie Elizabeth Hendershot, 76, of Germantown, died on arrival at Marietta Memorial Hospital at four o?clock Friday afternoon, April 2, 1976. She was born October 27, 1899, at Germantown, a daughter of the late Elwood and Rosie Devine Miller. On February 21, 1917, she married George M. Hendershot, who preceded her in death, as did one son, three brothers and a sister. One son and four daughters survive, Brady Hendershot, Mrs. Jessie Kehl and Mrs. Goldie Myers, all of Lower Salem Route 2; Mrs. Fay Wittekind, of Marietta Route 4; and Mrs. Marjorie Reed, of Marietta. Mrs. Hendershot spent all her life in the Germantown community. She was a member of Dalzell Church of Christ. Services were held Monday afternoon at 12:30 o?clock in the McClure-Schafer Funeral Home, Marietta, with additional services at 1:30 o?clock, in the Dalzell Church of Christ, with Minister Jesse Nutter officiating. Burial was in Dalzell Cemetery.
