CHAMIZO, Catherine Ann nee Guthmiller Sept. 8, 1954 - May 12, 2009 A native of Sacramento. Cathy worked for the State of California for more than 25 years before her disability retirement from her position as a Senior Account Clerk on March 8, 2008. The things Cathy enjoyed the most were being with her family and family activities - everything from fishing in Snodgrass Slough with her grandparents, brother, and cousins when she was little, riding the ''big'' horse Chief at Comanche Lake, picnicking and helping the children with fishing Rancho Seco Park, to going to Dillon Beach to play in the ocean and sit in the warm sand. Preceded in death by her father Walter Guthmiller. Survived by her loving husband Arsenio; daughters Alishia Martinez, Lydia Chamizo, and Rosa Chamizo; brother and sister-in-law John and Lisa Guthmiller; mother Patty Guthmiller; granddaughtders Ashlee Brown, Stephanee Martinez, and Samantha Martinez; niece Candace Guthmiller; and nephew John Daniel Guthmiller. Friends are invited to a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22, in St. Joseph's Chapel of St. Mary's Cemetery, 6700 - 21st Ave. (off 65th St.). Interment will follow the service in St. Mary's Cemetery. Cremation arrangements by EAST LAWN ELK GROVE MORTUARY, (916) 732-2031.
