Burial of cremated remains will be at Mandan Union Cemetery.Barney was born January 3, 1916 in Bismarck, North Dakota to Michael and Katherine Graner. He graduated from Mandan High and went to North Dakota Agricultural College in Fargo, ND. On November 3, 1937 he married Isabella Froelich. He was a former resident of Mandan, ND where for many years he owned Barney's Standard Service until he retired. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Club, the Moose Club and was Director of the North Dakota Gasoline Association. He had, for the past 20 years resided in New Mexico and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He will be missed by all especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He leaves two daughters, Judy Graner Eckroth of Las Vegas, NV; Michelle and husband Richard Adams of Las Cruces, NM; one son, Allen M. Graner and wife Nancy of Ruby, ND; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Isabella; one son-in-law, Tim Eckroth; two sisters, Virginia Graner, and Isabella Ressler and one brother, Raymond Graner.
